This year has been an excessively challenging one. I hope that you and your family are safe and healthy, and remaining as sane as you can.
Some highlights of my Quarantimes:
I took an acting master class with Dexter Bullard, and some fiercley talented artists ,via Zoom.
The founding members of "In the River Productions", myself included, officially incorporated and have begun writing our first feature.
I once again joined the Black Ensemble Theatre for their "Sex in the Summer in the City" new play festival.
I am taking this Great Intermission to fall madly in love with art, music, literature and theatre again.
I hope you, too, are finding pockets of joy.
See you on the other side.
Born and raised in Steamboat Springs, CO, Mary Eliza started performing at a young age with a bucket of dress up clothes and the family piano. She continued performing throughout her life, attended the Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts Camp for three summers, and graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a BFA in Theatre Performance. Mary performed both academically and professionally in the Denver/Boulder area before moving out to Chicago, IL, where she is currently living.
Mary especially enjoys Shakespearean and classical theatre, period style work, as well as new play development. She reads avidly, and has recently discovered empanadas and cold brewed coffee, which is pretty neat.
